When Nature Calls

No, not that kind of nature calling...

The kind that gently whispers: Go ahead and take a break. Get a breath of fresh air and take in my bounty. Reinvigorate your soul.

Or in my case, the kind that screams: GET OFF THE COUCH AND GO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE SUNSHINE, SALT AIR, AND ROILING WATERS RIGHT IN YOUR BACKYARD. YOU'LL FEEL INSTANTLY BETTER, YA LAZY BUM!

So I've been doing more "outside" lately. Gotta admit, she was right.

With crisis comes rapid change - so said my therapist. She. Wasn't Kidding.

 

Overwhelmed and inundated by the emotional and spiritual journey I'd unwittingly embarked on, I needed to break it down into manageable, bite-sized pieces. I turned to writing using the lens of clichés, quotes and truisms. And so, the mack files was born.

 

I'm always honest. I'm often irreverent. Sometimes brutally so (on both fronts). But please do feel free to have a laugh at my expense - it's what I'm here for!
